“The Relaxed Businessman” Book Launched in Fazilka by Adv. Deepak Chhabra

Fazilka, July 2: A new book titled "The Relaxed Businessman" authored by Advocate Deepak Chhabra, a well-known Income Tax and GST consultant from Fazilka, was launched at KRV Garden in a simple but impactful ceremony. The book was jointly unveiled by Adv. Deepak Chhabra along with Mr. Rohit Aggarwal (Assistant Commissioner, State Tax), Mr. Pawan Ji (Assistant Commissioner, State Tax), Mr. Narender Kumar Rahad (Income Tax Officer), and Mrs. Shilpa Dhingra (Income Tax Officer).

Several dignitaries also marked their presence on the occasion, including ETO Vikas Swami, ETO Kulvinder Singh, Inspector Mohinder Singh, Inspector Sukhvinder Singh, Rajan Kamboj, Pradeep Chhabra, Ashok Kamboj, Sukhvinder Singh, and Sandeep Chhabra.

While addressing the gathering, Adv. Deepak Chhabra emphasized that there is no real complexity in GST or Income Tax—what is needed is basic understanding and awareness. He pointed out that many business owners often delay consulting their tax advisors and only approach them after receiving notices, which leads to avoidable complications.

“People have unnecessarily turned GST into a fear factor, whereas it actually simplifies tax compliance if handled properly,” said Chhabra. He added that his book aims to spread awareness among business owners, especially the younger generation taking over family businesses, about essential knowledge related to income, GST, returns, and taxation.

He highlighted that often a small error, like incorrectly filed returns, can lead to hefty penalties—even if GST has already been paid. “Such issues and their solutions have been covered in this book,” he explained.

Chhabra also remarked on how businessmen, despite putting their lives into building enterprises, hesitate to pass them on to the next generation due to compliance fears and complications. This mindset, he believes, needs to change.

The book "The Relaxed Businessman" is now available on Amazon and is intended to serve as a guide for current and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to manage their businesses confidently and without unnecessary stress.
