‘FFAITH’ to Unite Fazilka-Ferozepur Community in Tricity: Punjab Governor to Launch Initiative

Chandigarh, May 27 — In a heartening move to rekindle cultural ties and deepen community connections, a new initiative titled ‘FFAITH’ (Fazilka-Ferozepur Association in Tricity for Harmony) is set to be launched on Sunday, June 1 in Chandigarh. The initiative aims to bring together individuals and families residing in Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula who trace their roots to the historic districts of Fazilka and Ferozepur.
The launch-cum-community meet will mark the maiden event of FFAITH, serving as a platform to celebrate shared heritage, build networks, and promote a sense of belonging among people with common ancestral ties. The gathering is expected to see participation from professionals, youth, and families keen to connect over cultural pride and collective memories.
Conceptualized by Karan Gilhotra and Navdeep Asija, the initiative has garnered attention for its unique approach to community building. “FFAITH is about more than nostalgia—it's about unity, pride, and a common vision for the future,” said Gilhotra.
The event will be graced by Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, who will officially launch the association. Several other prominent dignitaries and community leaders are also expected to attend.
FFAITH aspires to grow into a vibrant platform for cultural preservation, professional collaboration, and intergenerational bonding, strengthening the thread of harmony across the Tricity region.
