Health worker Raja Sandeep said that under this campaign, teams of the Health Department have been checking the stagnant water sources for more than a week and anti-larval spray has been applied on the stagnant water sources. was sprayed. He said that it is very important to take precautions to avoid dengue. He said that every Friday is celebrated as “Every Friday - Dengue Te Vaar” by the Health Department and on this day, water storage vessels should be dried once and reused so that the breeding of mosquitoes can be prevented.
On this occasion, Vijay Kumar said that dengue fever is spread by the bite of a mosquito called Aedes aegypti. This mosquito bites during the day and this mosquito breeds in clean water that has been standing for more than a week. Therefore, we should not let water stagnate in junk tires, broken pots, flower pots or other water-holding sources. Use mosquito nets and mosquito repellent creams, wear clothes that cover the entire body, do not let water stagnate around the houses, keep water tanks in the house covered.
He said that if a person has any symptoms of dengue and malaria such as If you experience symptoms such as high fever, headache, pain in the eyes, joints and body, loss of appetite, etc., you should go to the nearest civil hospital and contact a specialist doctor and get a dengue test done. Dengue tests and treatment are free in all government hospitals.
